DOT Therapy Fractional CO2

DOT Therapy with the SmartXide DOT CO2 laser offers the ultimate in skin rejuvenation. “Fractional” is a hot topic for clients seeking skin tightening and evening out skin tone.

What is CO2 fractional laser skin resurfacing?
CO2 fractional laser skin resurfacing has become the gold standard in skin rejuvenation. According to recent studies presented at the American Society of Laser Medicine and Surgery at the University of California Irvine, the CO2 laser produces 30% more collagen than the Erbium (eg. Fraxel Re:store) Laser, resulting in an absolute better result. The term “fractional” refers to the fact that only a fraction of the skin is treated by producing columns of heat, and leaving the surrounding dermal tissue intact.
DOT Therapy is an ablative treatment and downtime for healing is approximately 6-10 days. Day 1-3 consists of swelling and possible pin-point bleeding. You will enjoy hanging out at home reading a book or watching a movie while altering the application of ice, aquaphor, Refissa Growth Factor and vinegar soaks. Day 4-6 it’s likely the swelling has subsided and you can switch from aquaphor to Hydrate Luxe for added moisture. By Day 6 many of our clients are able to apply Oxygenetix post procedure foundation: a breathable formula that promotes healing and provides complete coverage.

If you are considering DOT Therapy call to schedule a pre-CO2 appointment 2 months prior to desired CO2 treatment date. The best outcome is achieved by prepping your skin 6 weeks prior to treatment with Obagi. During your consultation we will take baseline photos, give you product to prep your skin and schedule your DOT Therapy with one of our highly skilled practitioners.

Skin Discoloration, Dark Circles –
Elōs™ Photofacial (IPL)

Skin 365 can erase sun-damage with light. Treat your face, neck, chest, arms and hands with elōs™ (electro-optical synergy). Elōs™ uses a unique combination of radio frequency and light. Using two energies instead of one means more effective results for you.

The signs of aging go beyond fine lines and wrinkles. Sun-spots, large pores and capillaries are the result of a lifetime of sun and environmental exposure. The visible signs include pigmentary changes, coarse skin texture, spider veins, facial redness, enlarged pores, and of course, wrinkles.

Elōs™ IPL reduces sun -damage, age spots, hyper-pigmentation and capillaries while stimulating healthy new collagen to re-texturize your skin.

The light-based laser we use at Skin 365 treats a wide variety of skin conditions:

  • sun damage
  • flushing; rosacea
  • skin texture
  • redness
  • broken capillaries
  • brown spots
  • age spots
  • dark circles around the eyes
  • sun-induced freckles hands, arms, neck, chest, and face
  • broken capillaries around the nose
  • excels in helping the reduction of fine wrinkles and large pores

Please remember to stop using Retinol and Retin A at least three days prior to your light-based laser treatment. Also, no suntan or spray tan as the light see’s your tan skin as “discoloration.” The lightest your skin can get is best so the sun-damage or capillaries are more apparent and easier for the light to find and zap it!
